Unable to logout from an offline matrix-synapse server

Steps to reproduce

Hello,

1. Where are you starting? What can you see? Element is connected to a self hosted matrix-synapse server with a public dynamic ip address (no domain name: test purpose) (http without ssl) Basic messaging functions are working.

2. What do you click? The public dynamic ip address from the server changes so the client has to reconnect to the new public address. The client Element iOS can't reach the server anymore (normal the ip changed) So the client Element iOS user click on "disconnect" the matrix-synapse server but it "rolls" and never disconnect.

3. More steps… The user had to uninstall the app and reinstall to be able to change the server ip address

Sorry for my bad English skills, I can ask the phone model and version of iOS if needed.

Outcome

#### What did you expect? To disconnect quickly without waiting the server to respond (or give the possibility to stop waiting)

#### What happened instead? The client Element iOS app never stop trying disconnecting probably by trying to reconnect to the server that is already gone and will never answer at this ip address
