Manually added directories are not stored

Describe the bug After adding a new directory and switching to another directory, the added directory cannot be selected from the list

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to '#' tab, then '#+'
  2. Add new directory: 'Switch'
  3. type libera.chat and OK
  4. Note that the room selection shows _libera.chat Network`
  5. Switch to another directory, e.g. 'matrix.org'
  6. Switch back to 'libera.chat'
  7. Entry is not on the list, user has to type again (step 3)

Expected behavior Store manually added directories and display them in the selection list
