@alexlehm Any chance you had a notification in Element when it disappeared? (It could be related to attempts to overlay the notification count onto the icon.) If not that, does it always happen after a number of hours, or only sometimes?

Hi, i currently cannot check the computer where I run element, I will have to check later It may be related to notifications

@jryans i have the same problem. it is not directly/100% notification related. if stated the icon shows normally in the tray, notification get overlayed as red dot (this works normally) but sometimes the icon is just gone (black quad). cannot say if its triggered by a notification or not.

in general since i updated element i have gfx issues with it: sometimes if i open the app, the app window flickers and is completly black. after 1-2sec the app window content come back. will try to get you more details on that.

gfx driver: radeon
