Could you explain what you mean by show/hide? Showing and hiding the desktop application?

I'm not sure I got you right. If you need a shortcut to show/hide the desktop (minimize the application) - it's something that your Operating System should do (for example, in Windows you can press WinKey+D to minimize everything). Also Print Screen is usually taken with the PrintScreen key. Once you take a screenshot, you can paste it to Element easily. (Sorry in advance if I misunderstood. Just trying to help)

u just only minimize by Win+D but how u reopen it without clicking notification-icon? same shortcut could do minimize and reopen. r we clear?

printscreen?sorry for coufused to what I said .well, printscreen key to take whole screen but sometimes u just want one part of it.so shall we make it like this https://screenrec.com/assets_dist/screenrec/media/7-best-free-windows-10-screenshot-tools/pc-screen-capture.gif it's better for element web could do quite a few picture-editing job

Please avoid (unnecessary) exclamation marks in reports and title as an issue report. I suggest retitling to:

No global keyboard shortcut to show Element window
