Account information is lost

Steps to reproduce

1. Install Element
2. Use it normally
3. Wait a few weeks
4. Start it again
5. ???

I don't know how to accurately reproduce it. This just happens every now and again. Once every 2-4 weeks I guess.

What happened instead?

I'm logged out all the way to the start with the mountain lake screen, and need to re-login, and authenticate the session with the QR code and all that.

Also incidentally, the verification is always "cancelled" the first I try. I always have to retry. Might be worth getting that fixed. Not sure if the problem is on mobile or desktop - you know that better than I do, presumably.

I am just attaching myself here, as I do have a similar issue. Furthermore, I am running a self-hosted server which seems to keep the connections of the bridges in the back, but the client seems to loose it

confirmed on Debian stable (Linux 6.1.0-40-amd64 #1 SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Debian 6.1.153-1 (2025-09-20) x86_64 GNU/Linux) - I used the client yesterday, and today when starting it for the first time, I got logged out / session info was lost.
