Extremely high VRAM usage

Open Dinsmoor opened this issue 4 months ago • 2 comments

Steps to reproduce

  1. Just normally using the application, but it has been up since July 25th, today is the 2nd of August.
  2. Nothing specific, just noticed while doing LLM work that I was all the sudden out of VRAM, so I checked nvidia-smi and found that /proc/self/exe was using 1292MiB of VRAM. When checking out what process it really was with ps, it was this: tyler 20913 0.5 0.1 34352896 62352 ? Sl Jul25 72:38 /proc/self/exe --type=gpu-process --disable-gpu-sandbox --ozone-platform=wayland --enable-crash-reporter=1653fbc6-c770-4188-9d55-d890ad8e190d,no_channel --user-data-dir=/home/tyler/.var/app/im.riot.Riot/config/Riot --gpu-preferences=UAAAAAAAAAAgAAAEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAABgAAEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAABAAAAAAAAAAEAAAAAAAAAAIAAAAAAAAAAgAAAAAAAAA --shared-files --field-trial-handle=3,i,3080885077030424039,5179729390839420326,262144 --enable-features=PdfUseShowSaveFilePicker,WaylandWindowDecorations,WebRTCPipeWireCapturer --disable-features=HardwareMediaKeyHandling,MediaSessionService,SpareRendererForSitePerProcess --variations-seed-version
