Clicking message notification doesn't focus Element

Steps to reproduce

1. Launch Element
2. Ensure desktop notifications are enabled
3. Receive a desktop notification (i.e. someone in DMs sends you a message)
4. Click the notification that appears
5. Observe, nothing happens.

Outcome

What did you expect?

Element should become the focused window.

What happened instead?

The notification closes, but nothing happens.

Note that I believe this was working fine on Debian 11 (GNOME 3.3X) however no longer works properly on Debian 12 (GNOME 43.4).

Operating system
