Very low audio level from EC embedded in EXI on wired headset

Steps to reproduce

1. Amandine called me from EXI using default iPhone wired headphones for audio
2. I picked up the call on ED
3. Audio levels were very low from her; roughly 3x quieter than it should be.
4. I switched to EXI
5. Still far too quite.

Given that the low volume was observed from multiple devices, we suspect this is an issue with the sender's input levels

Can this issue be interpreted as a request for "audio input normalisation on the microphone track (sender device)"

From the issue its hard to tell if this is a mic->os->browser issue or if element call did do sth funky and reduced the perfectly fine incoming audio.
