Reactions cause the speaker to become inaudible for a short period

Steps to reproduce

  1. Join a group call
  2. Listen to the speaker
  3. Reactions are sent by other participants
  4. (Sometimes?) the speaker is not heard until the reaction stops

Outcome

What did you expect?

The reaction overlays with the speaker audio nicely.

What happened instead?

The speaker became muted / inaudible

Toggling hand raised seems to cause this, unable to reproduce with other sounds.

I don't seem to be able to reproduce this at all (I tried very hard with all sorts of browser / audio setting combinations), so I think it first ideally needs someone who can provide better steps.

yeah, it's plausible. I didn't do anything directly to help but possibly AudioContexts overlayed works better than AudioContext +
