Profile photo update - OK button not touchable at top of screen

Open muhammedsaidckr opened this issue 3 months ago • 4 comments

Steps to reproduce

Image

When trying to update my profile photo in Element X Android, the OK/confirm button appears at the top of the screen but is not touchable/unresponsive. This prevents users from confirming their new profile photo selection.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Go to profile settings
  2. Tap to change profile photo
  3. Select or take a new photo
  4. Try to tap the OK button at the top of the screen

Outcome

What did you expect?

The OK button should be touchable and properly positioned for easy access.

What happened instead?

The OK button is unresponsive when tapped, making it impossible to confirm profile photo changes.

The screen on your screenshot is not part of Element X but probably from your photo application. Can you check using another application please?

OK, moving the issue to the correct repo then.

This issue is a duplicate of #9084.

There is also a description of a workaround: Use splitscreen mode with Element at the bottom half.
