Calls not ringing with unifiedpush

When using UnifiedPush for push notifications, calls don't ring.

Setup:

  • Element Android from F-Droid
  • UnifiedPush with a self-hosted ntfy server

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Close the Element app
  2. Have someone try to call you
  3. Observe nothing being shown on your device

Can confirm the same issue. Major issue, as it should work with UnifiedPush. Tried it both using self hosted and at ntfy.sh. The troubleshooting on app shows all check boxes.

Also have this issue with ntfy.sh and using FDroid, background polling works
