Periods following a hyperlink are parsed as part of the link, mangling the URL

Steps to reproduce

URLs in posts are converted to hyperlinks. However, if the link is immediately followed by a period, without an intervening space, it is parsed as part of the link, which mangles the URL. This happen, for example, if the link is part of a sentence that ends with a period.

Outcome

On Element for iOS and Element for Desktop (Windows) the hyperlinks are parsed without the period. It would make sense for Element for Android to follow the same behavior.
