Board outline files missing or empty

Attempted to get a quote from https://jlcpcb.com by uploading the zipped gerbers, but the process seemed to fail with no board preview shown. I tried using OSHPark which produced some error messages:

I tried w/ the 5x3 and 10x5 protoboards with the same basic result.

Strange, I used exactly these files for ordering. Can it be that the files got corrupted during download?

Please try downloading the whole repository using git clone instead of just a download with your browser. A git client always does a full checksum verification during download.

Then use a online gerber viewer like https://gerber-viewer.easyeda.com/ to verify them. I see the proper layout when using this viewer, just the milled slots inside of the pcb are not rendered correctly. They still come out fine when ordering at JLCPCB/Easyeda of course, inside slots are just something a lot of the free gerber tools don't seem to get right.
