My PDF's contain hyperlinks which are protocols handled by my application. For example myprotocol://

If these PDF's are opened in Safari / Acrobat / Microsoft Edge / Chrome then these links go through no problem. But when using chrome / electrons built in PDF viewer they don't do anything. Can this be resolved easily?

I've just realised that when you right click a link in a PDF (in chrome) and click 'open in new tab' it opens a new tab no problem (and then forwards request to my application). But clicking it does nothing. Obviously I don't have this option when using an Electron window. Is this an issue for the Chrome team?

I'm hoping I can sort this out without waiting for a fix on their part!
