Child window becomes visible when parent is maximized

Expected Behavior
I expect that if a child window is hidden whilst parent is minimized it should remain hidden when maximized
Actual Behavior
Child window is visible. If The child window is hidden while the parent is maximized then it remains hidden if minimized -> maximized
To Reproduce
- Create a child window and assign it a parent
- Set a timeout to hide the child window
- Minimize parent and wait for timeout to expire
- Maximize

Something similar repros in Electron 21. Though in my case, when I restore the parent window, the child window is made visible.
