CheckForUpdates very slow first time and became very faster second time and more

Hi Electron team, I tried Electron 13.6 and electron-updater 4.6.1 and also tried Electron 18.0 and electron-updater 5.0.1, got the same result. I generated build with generic provider and hosted on our private server (IIS). When it called CheckForUpdates method (just getting yml file info, without downloading installer automatically), it took about 22 seconds first time, then I did CheckForUpdates again, it took about less than 1 second. I checked logs in server side, processing two requests took almost same time (200~300 milliseconds). It seems that something was cached first time, could you please help explain what happened during CheckForUpdates? Was it loading some resources? By the way, I am not sure if it is related to network. I deployed latest.yml on my local PC and ran CheckForUpdates, it was faster when no network connect, but it was very slow when connecting a WIFI.
