More & better data for Bolivia (historical with better breakdown by type + forecast with good breakdown by type)
While investigating #2882, I came across some better data:
Generation + forecast
- Historical generation by power plant up to yesterday.
-
List of reports, select "Despacho de carga realizado" in the dropdown menu and click "Buscar"
- URL to an actual report. As you can see, the URL has a date in DDMMYY format that can be altered to get data for a different day.
- Although the the report has no data for the current day (we'll need #2882 for that), it actually does distinguish between wind and solar, partially resolving #2666
- There's also a "Descargar Archivo" link on the report which allows you to download it as a ZIP with an Excel file
-
List of reports, select "Despacho de carga realizado" in the dropdown menu and click "Buscar"
- Forecast generation by power plant up to tomorrow + forecast marginal cost of electricity in US$/MWh
- List of reports. This is the default selection, but if it changes in the future, you can select "Predespacho y Costo Marginal Previsto"in the dropdown menu and click "Buscar"
- URL to an actual report. As you can see, the URL has a date in DDMMYY format that can be altered to get data for a different day.
- Again, there's a "Descargar Archivo" link on the report which allows you to download it as a ZIP with an Excel file
Other useful stuff (select in the dropdown menu):
- Balance de energía por áreas - generation and demand by area
- Inyecciones de energía al STI - marginal cost of electricity in US$/MWh
- Energía horaria inyectada - solar/wind/hydro/thermal generation graph as PNG. Same data should already be in "Despacho de carga realizado" reports
All of this data is available up to yesterday.
The archive above mentioned by @q-- goes actually as far back as February 1st, 2006 with hourly data and split by type:
