[ES|QL] Syntax highlighting with line breaks broken

When line break whitespace is introduced, syntax highlighting stops working.

See, on one line everything is highlighted:

When function is on a new line, it is not highlighted anymore:

When function argument "xxxx" is on a new line it is not highlighted anymore:
