[Metrics UI] Waffle map is not rendered in some cases

Kibana version: 7.12.0

Describe the bug: It was reported that the waffle map is not rendered on the Metrics UI while it seems that the data exist. The history chart is rendered correctly.

The problem is that the interval is not calculated correctly. On the screenshot above we can see that the calculated interval is 0 while it should be 1.

Errors in browser console (if relevant): I can see no errors in the console

(It looks like this was caused by a mapping issue, however I noticed this after the ticket was filed. Just in case someone picks this up.)
