Support for ESXi and vCenter 6.7 and 7 for Metricbeat vSphere Module

Open amitkv321 opened this issue 5 years ago • 6 comments

As per vSphere module metricbeat reference, vSphere module library is built for and tested against ESXi and vCenter 5.5, 6.0 and 6.5.

Can we expect support for ESXi and vCenter 6.7? or Is there any way to configure vSphere module to support ESXi and vCenter 6.7? image

Update: Update govmomi and check support with ESXi 7 too.

In the meantime ESXi/vSphere 7 has been released, updating descriptions of this issue.

This breaks other tools such as Telegraf too. Is this a problem with metricbeat or a VMware issue?

Hi! We just realized that we haven't looked into this issue in a while. We're sorry!

We're labeling this issue as Stale to make it hit our filters and make sure we get back to it as soon as possible. In the meantime, it'd be extremely helpful if you could take a look at it as well and confirm its relevance. A simple comment with a nice emoji will be enough :+1. Thank you for your contribution!
