Is it compatible with Magento 2.4 and App Search 7.8.1?

I want to know if it's compatible with the latest version of Magento 2.4

@afoucret (looks like you are the maintainer) can you comment on the liveliness of this project? It seems that there has been a shift of focus (I presume lead by Elastic) from this repository to https://github.com/elastic/app-search-php but will the focus at some point return to this repository? Is there some sort of roadmap from your (Elastic's) end?
