More verbose error messages?

Hi, great library here. Thank you. I have no C expertise or else I would look into it myself, but I'm using imagemagick-native to validate image files, simply calling identify on them and assuming if it errors out, there's something wrong with the image. However, the problem is that the error message I get are always the same: [Error: unhandled error].

Is there any way this could be more verbose? For instance, when I do a command line identify on this file https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/10877323/tiff_with_bad_iptc.tif I get informed that it has bad IPTC header data, but I just get the same old error [Error: unhandled error] with imagemagick-native.
