Can I suggest a couple of new features?
- support Home assistant statistics for printed pages
- add sensors for pages printed in last month (instant ink)

I've updated to the latest version but I can't find a sensor for pages printed last month and I can't see it as an attribute. How do I show this please?
Same here, just installed this, ver 1.0.8 and not seeing any sensors for pages printed. All im getting is printer state and 4 other sensors for 3 colour toners and 1 black. Printer model is HP Colour Laserjet Pro MFP M277dw
~A statistics sensor for number of printed/scanned pages would be really interesting! Currently there's just the attribute under sensor.my_printer_printer, but that's not statistical.~
Actually, that does seem to have been implemented, although I can't say for sure since I just installed the component. Other than that, the monthly stats can be inferred via some other components/helpers, pretty much like people do for energy consumption. You can google around for that, unfortunately I don't use those features yet.
@criscaru I would suggest you to edit the issue title so it's more descriptive - like "[Feature request] Add statistics and sensors for printed pages/scans". This helps a lot when you're looking for an issue, as a dev 😉
I think it's still relevant. I can't see a way to show the pages printed last month, so there's no way to calculate how many pages are left from instant ink. Or am I being daft?
You can create utility sensor out of the pages sensor, no need to hold another sensor with calculation per month, tomorrow someone else will ask for daily or yearly counter
In a request to "add sensors for pages printed in last month (instant ink)" you said you had added that. I was just pointing out I couldn't find it. I have already created a topic where we came up with a solution but if you had a sensor, specifically for instant ink, then I would have liked to check it out.

In order to take full advantage of the solutions we came up with here: - https://community.home-assistant.io/t/instant-ink-countdown-for-hp-printer-integration/181172 I'd have to have packages, but I don't. I do have a working solution but it can't account for rollover pages. It would be great to have 'Instant Ink' considerations as part of your integration (Date of renewal / roll-over pages / etc). Would you like me to create a new feature request? Or if it's not something you would like to pursue then that's totally understandable. Thank you for what we have already, it's great!
