feature request - select targets in a ellipsoid or a cylinder instead of a cuboid

By now AreaOfEffectAction can only select entities in a cuboid with edge-length of radius2, yRadius2 and radius*2. Is it possible to provide a way which can select entities in a ellipsoid or a cylinder?

I could make separate x,y,z components, but orienting it would be hard (or perhaps impossible without writing my own selector outside of the Bukkit API).

I'll leave this open, but it's unlikely to happen.
