Limited elos not usable as analysis engine in Scid vs PC

I have downloaded the source code and build this in Debug mode on a 64 bit machine. I put it into ScidvsPC as Analysis Engine with strength limited to 600 Elo and MultiPV at 4. At the start position it shows some moves. Then I make a move on the board and then the engine stops. Scid vs PC shows the messge "The analysis engine terminated without exit code". It is the same without MultiPV and also with strength at 2000.
The error does not happen when its strength is not limited. Playing against the engine with reduced strength via Play/Play against UCI engine is possible and works.
