Problem with deleting thumbnail using control button as right click on Mac trackpad

When user attempts to delete a thumbnail using Control key with trackpad, it deletes but then the mouse click is also captured as a selection, so it then reloads the image.

This does not happen when user uses a mouse nor a trackpad with real buttons.
