Feature request: Office viewer

I would love to see an update where I could preview word document's.

I'm not sure if that is possible (better: I don't know how). I think there is viewerjs that can display ODT documents, but I don't know how I can add previews for word in the browser. Since viewing files is not the primary goal, I'm a bit conservative to add more js libs to the app.

I have no idea if this helps you but google has a preview link or something with their Google Docs. https://docs.google.com/gview?url=http://remote.url.tld/path/to/document.doc And when you copy the download link in sharry and paste it in the url part of that link it just shows the document. I tried to iframe that in a html editor and it works when you paste &embedded=true on the end of the link. So it is possible to render the document in the browser.

Ah yes, that would work, thank you! But it also means that you send all the files to google. And it only works if the share is published, because otherwise there are no public urls. For me personally, sending all files to google would be unacceptable. So if it is added, it must be an opt-in feature in the config file. Maybe even with a little switch/button to the file in order to let the user choose to send it to google for previewing.
