Bug: Clicking fast on Tagfilter changes Tagfiltericon but not the filter itsself

Open lopiuh opened this issue 3 years ago • 3 comments

(Linux/Chrome) if you fast doubleclick on a tag so that its Icon goes into state "checkbox" and then to "-" the filter does not reflect that nut stays in its old state (Tag is ignored). If you do this slowly the filter goes into displayed state "tag must not be set"

Hi @lopiuh thanks for reporting - I think I can't follow really. I just tried it on my instance and the search is a little behind the clicking, but after a few clicks it eventually does the correct search. Do you see this when doing exactly one double click? Or are there many fast clicks? The last sentence - is this describing a failure or an expected behavior?

Ok steps to reproduce on my side (using docker image) -Itemview is unfiltered (349 items) -Open Tags in left side menue -first tag has 19 items -single click (unfilterd state -> checkbox state) on first Tag: 19 items are displayed (correct) -single click (checkbox state -> minus state) on first Tag: 330 items are displayed (correct) -single click (minus state -> unfilterd state) on first Tag: 349 items are displayed (correct)

double click (unfilterd state -> minus state): 19 items are displayed BUG, it should be 330. The used filter is lagging on click behind the displayed filter state of the tag.

hope that helps ;-) ... I try in Firefox ....

yep, same (faulty) behaviour like in Chrome

Yes, it helps, thank you! So it's just one double click.
