What is the current behavior?

No way to specify that options in the widget should be sorted. No mechanism to sort when the menu is open.

What is the expected behavior?

If the current behavior is a bug, please provide the steps to reproduce and if possible a minimal demo

Common options for demos are jsfiddle and codepen

If you are requesting a new or changed feature, please provide a rationale

Other similar widgets of this type provide ways to sort the options. It would be nice to have some way to do that.

This should be considered in the future.
