CheckUpdate only for darwin and win32

Check for update only for darwin and win32 platform. Linux user can't use it and use the system package manager (apt, yum, etc...)

Thank you for your recent pull-requests, I will review these later this week and merge them.

RE Linux packages: This is definitely an issue and many of the users faced it. We are working to fix this by shipping linux packages via Snapcraft from v0.3. In meantime, I believe this pull-request will be helpful for the current version.
