Error: Cannot parse API response

Hi,

I set up my own Etherpad instance that is working so far, but I cannot connect to it from the Plugin. When I select "Convert current note to Etherpad", I get: Error creating pad XYZ: Cannot parse the API response.

I tried looking into the console and network logs of the developer tools but did not find more info right away. Do you have an idea how I could try to debug it?
