Dear eggnog,

I love the tool thank you very much. I have been trying to upload a 103Mb CDS file to http://eggnog-mapper.embl.de/

The webpage (Google Chrome - this has always worked for me before) continually has a circle, indicating it is doing something. But I can leave this all day and it never upload. (week starting 18th October). My upload speed from my Uni connection is very fast, so this is not the issue.

Is there a problem at your end?

Chrome is up to date Version 94.0.4606.81 (Official Build) (64-bit)

thank you for your kind words.

I don't know what is going on. I just sent a 12MB proteins file and it was uploaded in ~1sec. Would you mind sending me the file compressed to [email protected]?

If there is anyone else with this problem: Carlos found out it was due to the CDS file not being truly CDS (sequences were not divisible by 3, codons etc ... ). Cheers Carlos.

I will re-open since the problem it was a second one :D The file size is still an issue we have to address, to try to match allowed file sizes with the allowed number of input sequences.
