Just change the _maxDate_ and _minDate_ in options. [In readme](https://github.com/bleenco/ng2-datepicker#options) you can see both of them are _Date.now()_ and there is no any selectable date between them.

@wojtekmaj Do you have any specific date for publishing v6.0.0. Or any published roadmap? @jakoblind The solution did not worked for me. I think I still should do something with...

@jakoblind Thanks for help, this works like a charm! Actually alanpilloud's solution worked for me but this approach would make more sense in my situation.

I checked, there is not a chance for adding transition to density map (hetmap). The most sensible solution seems like hiding and showing
