No.

There hasn't been any updates to this repository since May 2, 2016, and the code is still based on version 11.10.05.00.0, from 2011.

The official project is also abandoned, but was at least on version 15.02.03.00.1 (Feb 2015).

The version in this repository still works, but I and others have had problems with some of the options documented with the official version at https://www.slac.stanford.edu/~abh/bbcp so I ended up using one of the binaries from https://www.slac.stanford.edu/~abh/bbcp/bin. See #15 for how I got my binary working.

If you know of any alternatives that are actively maintained, that be good to know... I haven't found any tools as remotely as fast as bbcp, though.

Actually the git repository seems to be back up! git clone https://www.slac.stanford.edu/~abh/bbcp/bbcp.git/ and it's version 17.12.00.00.0
