Until `pgx` officially supports range types (and we have a PR for it, finally: https://github.com/tcdi/pgx/pull/663), ZomboDB won't be able to. I'm leaving this open as I'd like ZDB to support...

Thanks for the heads-up on this. It's clearly something I hadn't realized. We probably need to fix up [pgx](https://github.com/tcdi/pgx) as well.
Circling back to this... I spent some time many months ago looking into `minicbor` and `ciborium` and they failed pretty quickly with ZDB. I suppose either they're not perfect cbor...
This has bitrotted a little bit. @EdMcBane, are you interested in bringing it up-to-date? We can get it merged soon...
