Fonts appear lighter on Windows browsers than on Mac.

I loaded the site on Windows browsers for the first time, and noticed that fonts appear much lighter than they do on Mac. Screenshots below:

Not a bug. That’s all due to the differences in font rendering between platforms. On Practical Typography, I serve slightly lighter versions of my fonts to Mac users to adjust for the heavier rendering.

^ in depends on the note from @mbutterick we should close this issue, it is not a bug, the web-browser, the OS and the results are different.
