Test Users

Hi there,

I will be teaching a 3rd year software engineering class at the University of Toronto this upcoming fall term. It is the first time I am using GitHub for teaching a class, so I am still trying to find the best way to use GitHub for our course.

I would like to get a better idea of the students' perspective, in order to make sure that the workflow is smooth and clear. Therefore, It would be very useful to have some test users (e.g. fake-student1, fake-student2, ...).

Is there a way to create test users on GitHub?

I have created a test git account with a test gmail account :-)

This is, apparently, the main use of my husband's account :-)

Good thing I set it up for him and know all the details.

To be more serious, it would be nice to have an official way to this.

Could anyone tell me what the @ in the folder name means? What's its function?
