RG280V "Setup Permissions...." taking very long time on boot up.

What happened?

On boot up, the screen stays on "Setup permissions..." for at least a minute each time and sometimes takes over 5 minutes. Once I let it sit for >20 minutes before I gave up and forced a hard reboot. I checked the logs under /var/logs and didn't see any errors nor any warnings/notices related to booting up. Is there another log output location? The issue could be because of the number of files on the SD Card, maybe?
