[ENHANCEMENT]: Using S0 of Heishamon for calculating efficiency

Open WP-Rue opened this issue 1 year ago • 7 comments

The electric measurement of the Jeisha is not very accurate: it is better to use an external counter, which can be attached to the Heishamon. I prefer this way and implement the attached solution - at the moment I have to do it with every new update. Maybe it is possible, to integrate a selection of the input-channel for power in the same manner, like you did it for the other sensors in V24? Thanks for your great work...

I created something working already for the 1wire sensor. But currently, i assumed 1 Power measurement for the entire pump. Your use case is to add power measurement 1 + 2 and use that for cop calculation right?

Yes.. you are right. Heishamon has two inputs for this purpose.. Rue

Btw I also assume all values cannot be positive and sometimes negative. I have made the value absolute. I think it is not correct. Because there are meters wich van go positive and negative.

Or can we assume it is always consumption? What is your opinion

Quite easy: the S0-Interface of Heishamon has only one direction! 😉✅

Sorry- maybe a too short answer? The S0-interface of Heishamon-PCB counts pulses of the electric meter. The pulses (pauses between) have only a length- no direction no sign. And I think, the heatpump and/or the heater only consume energy from grid... so everything counts in the direction of consumption😊👍🏻

Really? O. I did not know that. 😄
