Highlight and region are of not high enough contrast

I love this theme. The only problem is that the highlight is not dark enough. The highligh in the original theme is good, but I barely can distinguesh it in this theme when only one word is selected.

Making it black doesn't make it work much better IMO.

Would you consider making hc-zenburn-bg-.. settings lighter instead?

Actually, no need to make them lighter. Just make highlight and region faces to use ...bg+3 or ..bg+05 colors instead. I have tried it, and it works great.
