F2 (menu) does nothing

Pressing F2 doesn't work in a shell through SSH.

Using version 0.3.1, on a debian, viewed through a PuTTY terminal.

• F2 works in Midnight Commander in the same shell/terminal
• F2 works if I VNC and run lntop in a proper terminal
