FR: Smart renaming script: Trim function
Hi Ek, me again, hope I don't bother you with my requests haha
I was using transnomino (free mac file renaming app, a really good one) and thought it would be useful to add it's trim function to just trim some characters from beginning or end of the names, this to delete maybe track numbers on exported stems from ableton e.g.
-- Also on another note, transnomino has this preset feature called recipes were it stacks different functions in steps so e.g. : First trim text, then replaces something with another and lastly inserts something else, all these pre-configured for specific repetead tasks or clients in one click.
I don't currently need this last one and you could say just use transnomino then (allthough it's just on mac) but I think I (and maybe other people) may need something like this eventually, besides being very useful too and having it within reaper, well big plus.
Anyway, a trim function would be enough :D
