LG G8x USB game controller not recognised

Description

Connecting my Razr Kishi USB C controller to my lg g8x doesn't do anything and the controller is not even available in the device manager. Furthermore, after plugging in and out the controller, I can't charge my phone anymore or connect to a powered hub and then I need to restart my phone to her charging working again.

I see that the status for the USB field is defined as problematic, is this a known bug? Is anyone working on this?

this is a known bug and unfortunately all SM8150 devices suffer from this issue iirc, not sure if anyone is working on this
