Request/Offer to Collaborate: Monochrome and Single-Color Versions of Icons
Hello,
First of all, thank you for the amazing work on SuperTinyIcons! These icons are incredibly useful and efficient.
I would like to request/offer collaboration in creating monochrome (black and white) or single-color versions of the existing icons. Here are a few reasons why these versions would be beneficial:
- Badges and Shields: Monochrome and single-color icons are ideal for use in badges and shields, providing a clean and professional look.
- Accessibility: Simplified color schemes can improve accessibility for users with visual impairments or color blindness.
- Design Flexibility: Single-color icons are easier to integrate into various design themes and styles, enhancing compatibility with different branding guidelines.
- Print Media: Black and white icons are essential for print materials where color printing is not feasible or cost-effective.
- Consistency: Having a unified style for all icons can help maintain visual consistency across different platforms and applications.
I believe these additions would greatly enhance the versatility and usability of SuperTinyIcons.

It is an interesting idea. Is there a way to automate this? Perhaps using CSS?
I'm not an expert but I would say not generally. Finder, for example, couldn't easily be reduced to monochrome without losing some of the logo. Some logos, like JSON, simply can't work in pure black and white. I'm against making black and white versions of all the logos for this reason, it's a difficult problem. I also wouldn't want to modify logos to be egregiously outside of branding guidelines. However, I wouldn't be opposed to having monochrome logos where an official monochrome version is available.

Thank you for considering my offer. Automating the process of converting logos to monochrome or a single color is challenging due to the variations in the logos (some have backgrounds, some don't, some have gradients, etc.). These differences mean that human intervention is often required to ensure everything works correctly.
For simpler logos, I can create a Python script to set the background to "none" (transparent) and change the rest of the strokes to white. This approach should work for most logos, but manual adjustments may be necessary for more complex ones.
Would you allow me to create this script and add the converted logos to their respective folders (monochrome and single color)? I can then submit these changes as a pull request.

P.S.: As Eiim mentioned, it is true that some logos will not work well in a single-color or monochrome format. Generally, logos that do work this way are permitted in the logo's guideline, so this should not pose a problem.

This repository is open source. Please feel free to fork it and maintain your own monochrome version.
