@vibonacci , @DJ-High-on-Life , I recently encountered with a similar problem. I resolved it by installing the [AV1 Video Extension](https://apps.microsoft.com/detail/9mvzqvxjbq9v) from the Microsoft Store. 

Try to rename `Thorium` key in `Chromium`, it worked for me.
