50 Attempts to change wallpaper. Disabling RWC.

I'm getting this "50 attempts" notification. I've tried reinstalling, changing the subreddits and the query. When adding a RecyclerView as a child/grand-child to the MotionLayout, the Motion-Layout cannot progress across transitions.
