No progress after one year. How many committers are assigned to this project?

Who can substitute the committer in this project and restart the development?

Given the number of unanswered issues, some of them having been posted years ago, the number of reports of wrong javadoc, corner cases not documented, no samples for Mqtt V5 Api (it was announced some will be added more than a year ago), my confidence in this project goes down day after day, unfortunately.
