Hi openvsx-Team, does this suggestion go into the right direction or were you thinking of something entirely different? given the complexity of some queries, it may make sense to add some more actual tests with data before closing the issue?

Hi @fladdimir, thanks for your PR. The code works well as a smoke test and I think that was exactly the intent of #371.
