$SYS stats are not calculated

Hi! Do not know if this is a bug or fault configuration on my side. I have upgraded from 2.0.8 to 2.0.14 and saw that the the $SYS stats are not updated anymore. They are all initially populated with "0" and uptime "-1097176304". The version is set correct. Clients can subscribe - but will not get any updates. The only configuration I have in my conf is

sys_interval 10

which is default. I tested a bit, and this behaviour is introduced with 2.0.12. Before 2.0.12 everything is fine, upwards (and including) 2.0.12 $SYS is broken. In the release note of 2.0.12 I can find anything suspicious. The code diff does not look strang either.

Any ideas what causes this issue?

Nothing has changed on the mosquitto side related to this. Were you on an "interesting" platform running this? It feels like maybe the functions reading the time are misbehaving.
