Respect format settings when binding to a grammar with CodeLens or the grammar generator

When you bind an XML file to a grammar using the CodeLens or the grammar, XML content is inserted into the document.

This content should respect formatting settings, such as:

  • xml.format.splitAttributesIndentSize
  • xml.format.tabSize
  • xml.format.insertSpaces
  • xml.format.xsiSchemaLocationSplit
